According to the prosecution’s case, the woman, who worked as a nurse caring for Michael Schumacher, attended a social gathering at the property alongside several colleagues and guests. During the evening, attendees reportedly consumed alcoholic drinks, and prosecutors allege that the nurse became heavily intoxicated.

The court was told that the woman eventually lost consciousness and was assisted to an upstairs bedroom by others present at the gathering. Prosecutors claim she was placed in bed while still clothed and left to rest. According to the indictment, those who helped her upstairs departed the room after ensuring she was settled.

The allegations focus on what prosecutors say happened later that night.

Australian driver Joey Mawson, 30, is accused of returning to the room after the nurse had fallen unconscious. Prosecutors allege that sexual acts took place while the woman was incapable of giving consent. Mawson has categorically denied the allegations and maintains that any interaction between them was consensual.

Throughout the proceedings, the defense has argued that the relationship between the two individuals was much closer than prosecutors suggest. Mawson’s legal team reportedly claims that the pair had previously spent time together socially and had shared affectionate moments before the night in question.

According to court reports, one colleague informed her that she had become extremely intoxicated and that several people, including Mawson, had helped carry her upstairs. She said she questioned those around her about what had happened after she had lost consciousness.

The court heard that she was allegedly told that nothing unusual had occurred.
