McLaren CEO Zak Brown has dismissed growing speculation surrounding his driver lineup, insisting he has complete confidence in Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris despite ongoing rumors linking Formula One champion Max Verstappen with the reigning Constructors’ Championship team. While Brown acknowledged Verstappen’s exceptional talent, he made it clear that McLaren has no intention of disrupting a partnership he believes is already capable of defeating the Dutch superstar on merit.

Verstappen’s future has dominated Formula One headlines throughout the 2026 season. Questions about Red Bull’s competitiveness, combined with major regulation changes and speculation over the four-time world champion’s long-term plans, have fueled countless rumors about where he could race next.
