Love Island Stars Molly Smith and Tom Clare Celebrate Their Second Wedding in Majorca: “The Best Day of Our Lives”

Love Island couple Molly Smith and Tom Clare have celebrated their marriage for a second time, exchanging vows during a lavish ceremony in Majorca surrounded by family, friends and several familiar faces from the reality TV series.

The couple, who first met while appearing on Love Island All Stars in 2024, had already officially become husband and wife in a private legal ceremony in the UK. Their Spanish wedding therefore served as the much bigger celebration, giving the pair the opportunity to celebrate their relationship with a larger group of loved ones.

The Majorca ceremony took place over the weekend at the historic Son Marroig estate, a stunning 17th-century property overlooking the Mediterranean. Molly and Tom exchanged vows in front of the estate’s Carrara marble pavilion, creating an elegant backdrop for their special day.

Molly, 32, looked striking as she walked down the aisle in a classic strapless white wedding gown. She completed the traditional bridal look with a matching veil, creating a timeless appearance for the ceremony.

Tom, 26, opted for a sophisticated white tuxedo paired with a black bow tie. The couple looked perfectly coordinated as they stood together in front of the historic pavilion and officially celebrated their marriage with their guests.

Photographs from the wedding captured several emotional and joyful moments throughout the day. One particularly romantic image showed Molly and Tom sharing a kiss in front of the pavilion, while other pictures showed the newlyweds walking back down the aisle as their guests applauded and cheered.

Among those attending were several of their fellow Love Island personalities. Tom’s close friend and former villa co-star Casey O’Gorman took on the important role of best man. Other reality stars on the guest list included Josh Ritchie, Sophie Piper and Mitch Taylor.

The presence of so many familiar faces made the occasion even more special for the couple, given that their relationship began within the Love Island franchise.

Molly originally appeared on the sixth series of Love Island. During her time on the show, she was romantically involved with Callum Jones, with their relationship becoming one of the memorable storylines from that season.

Tom, meanwhile, joined the cast of the ninth series. The semi-professional footballer from Barnsley reached the final alongside Sami Elishi and finished in third place.

Although Molly and Tom had both previously experienced life in the Love Island villa, they did not meet until they were brought together for the 2024 All Stars edition of the programme.

Their connection developed quickly after entering the villa. The pair soon formed a strong romantic relationship and ultimately went on to win the series.

Their victory earned them the £50,000 prize, but the biggest reward was arguably the relationship they built during their time on the show. Rather than ending their romance once filming finished, Molly and Tom continued their relationship in the real world.

Their romance continued to grow after they left the villa, eventually leading to an engagement.

Tom proposed to Molly during a romantic candlelit evening on a beach in Dubai in September of the previous year. The proposal marked another major milestone for the couple and set the stage for their eventual wedding celebrations.

The pair then legally married in Manchester at the end of June. Unlike their Majorca celebration, the legal ceremony was deliberately intimate and attended only by their closest friends and family.

Following the official courthouse ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with their loved ones at The Ivy. The smaller event allowed the couple to officially become married without the scale and attention associated with their later Spanish celebration.

Their Majorca wedding was therefore more of a grand celebration of their marriage, bringing together a wider circle of friends and fellow reality stars.

While many former Love Island contestants attended, however, not every person invited was able to make it.

Former islander Anton Danyluk revealed that he had decided not to attend because he was concerned about his relationship with alcohol.

The 31-year-old Scot explained on social media that he was grateful to have received an invitation and felt honoured that Molly and Tom wanted him to be part of their special occasion. However, he ultimately decided that declining the invitation was the best choice for him.

Anton explained that his concern was not about the couple or the wedding itself. Instead, he was worried about being surrounded by an environment where alcohol would be readily available and potentially finding it difficult to control his drinking.

He discussed his previous efforts to take a break from alcohol, revealing that he had once managed to avoid drinking for around five months. However, he eventually recognised that his biggest challenge was not necessarily drinking itself but knowing when to stop once he started.

Since then, Anton said he has changed his approach. Rather than completely avoiding alcohol, he now drinks only occasionally in social situations and tries to keep his consumption under control.

He acknowledged that there have been occasions when things have gone further than he would have liked. However, he stressed that his current relationship with alcohol is significantly different from his past experiences and said that he is comfortable with where he currently stands.

His decision to stay away from the wedding demonstrates the personal boundaries he has established for himself. Although he would have liked to celebrate with Molly and Tom, he believed avoiding a potentially difficult situation was the healthier option.

For Molly and Tom, meanwhile, the Majorca ceremony represented another important chapter in their relationship.

Their journey from reality-TV contestants to a married couple has been relatively rapid. They first met in the Love Island villa in 2024, won the series together, became engaged the following year and then legally married before holding their larger celebration in Spain.

The couple’s story has therefore come full circle in a particularly fitting way. Their relationship began in front of television cameras, but their latest celebration allowed them to share their happiness with the people closest to them.

The beautiful Majorcan setting also provided a spectacular backdrop for their wedding photographs. The historic architecture of Son Marroig, combined with the surrounding Mediterranean scenery, helped create an atmosphere that was both romantic and glamorous.
