The Garrett Cardaras Funeral Home confirmed that a “Faith Lee Siders” and “Baliey Lee Siders” were born and passed away on November 20, 2022. The father of the twins is listed as Gary Siders II, Elizabeth’s husband, on both the birth and death records.

Records obtained by WCMH, along with an amended complaint filed against Elizabeth, show that she has delivered twins in her last four known pregnancies. She first gave birth to twins in February 2022, lost the conjoined twins in November 2022, and then had twins again in January 2024 and January 2025.

Elizabeth gave birth to her oldest child at just 15 years old, the same year she married then-18-year-old Gary II in West Virginia. Mason County records show that Elizabeth’s parents, Brian Ray Russell and Lori Ann Raines, consented to the marriage. The young couple lived just two houses apart in Gallia County, Ohio, at the time.

Gary Jr. had completed ninth grade, while Elizabeth had just finished eighth grade, according to the records. All four defendants have pleaded not guilty to the charges. A judge has ordered them to have no contact with one another or with the children, and set bond at $300,000 for each.

Vinton County Sheriff Ryan Cain stated during the July 1 news conference that the oldest child, an 18-year-old girl, could not write or spell her own name. “Most of our livestock was kept in better conditions than the children,” Cain said, describing the home as presenting a “disgusting scene.”

The raid also led to the arrest of Elizabeth’s in-laws, Gary and Christina Siders, who face the same 16 counts of child neglect each. Wilson noted that even as deputies prepared to execute the search warrant, they had no idea there would be 16 children living in the home. “It’s the type of thing that we’re not used to seeing here in America,” he said.
