He claimed that she began experiencing disturbing symptoms, including hearing what he described as a “compelling and unrecognizable singular male voice” that allegedly instructed her that she had reached a final opportunity and needed to take her children with her.

According to the lawsuit, Patrick claimed that the same voice also influenced Lindsay’s thoughts about suicide and caused her to believe that her children would suffer if she was no longer alive.
