A California teenager accused of carrying out a deadly shooting inside a public library allegedly told investigators he wanted to emulate one of the most infamous school massacres in American history, according to authorities.

Bradley Scott Sayer, 18, now faces two open counts of murder after police say he opened fire inside a Northern California library, killing two adults and injuring a child before attempting to flee the scene.
