Brooklyn Beckham has appeared to take another striking step away from his famous family, revealing that a tattoo once dedicated to his mother Victoria has now been almost completely covered.
The aspiring chef, 27, showed off his latest body-art transformation in a shirtless social media snap on Wednesday, giving followers a closer look at the floral design across his chest.
The tattoo is believed to be inspired by the bridal bouquet carried by his wife Nicola Peltz at their lavish 2022 wedding.
But the new artwork has attracted attention for another reason: it has almost erased an older tribute to Victoria that Brooklyn once proudly displayed.
Back in 2018, Brooklyn had the words “mama’s boy” tattooed across his left pec, a permanent declaration of his affection for his mother.

At the time, the Beckham family were regularly celebrated for their close relationship, with Brooklyn frequently sharing affectionate photographs of David, Victoria and his younger siblings.
Now, amid his bitter estrangement from his parents, the once-prominent tribute has almost disappeared beneath the floral artwork.
Brooklyn first began covering the tattoo last summer, when the partially transformed design was seen during a photoshoot.
His latest update suggests he has continued altering the area, leaving little trace of the message that once celebrated his bond with Victoria.
And the changes do not stop there.
Brooklyn has also previously covered or altered several tattoos that were dedicated to other members of his family, adding another layer of symbolism to the increasingly public fallout.
One of the most notable was an anchor tattoo bearing the word “Dad”, which had been created as a tribute to his father, former football star David Beckham.
The design on his upper right arm has since been partially covered with a collection of shapes and a star.
Another tattoo featuring the number “1975” also appears to have disappeared. The number had been understood to reference David’s birth year.
Brooklyn still has another sentimental tattoo connected to his father, although it now appears considerably more faded than it once was.
The handwritten words “love you Bust” refer to “Buster”, the childhood nickname David gave his eldest son.
While the tattoo has not completely vanished, the writing appears far less prominent than it was in previous years.

His tattoos dedicated to his siblings have also undergone changes.
Brooklyn once had the names of Romeo, Cruz and Harper inked across his fingers, but images have since shown that those designs were covered.
He does, however, still appear to have a “brotherhood” tattoo on his right leg.
The design was shared by Brooklyn and his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz after they visited tattoo artist Pablo, known online as Certified Letter Boy, in 2023.
Brooklyn and Romeo placed theirs on their legs, while Cruz opted for his hand.
He also still has a ballerina tattoo on his calf, which is understood to be a tribute to his youngest sibling, Harper.
The contrasting tattoos have inevitably drawn attention because of the dramatic deterioration in Brooklyn’s relationship with his family.
The Beckham family were once regarded as one of Britain’s closest celebrity families, regularly appearing together at birthdays, holidays, fashion shows and major events.
But that image changed dramatically after Brooklyn publicly announced in January that he had no intention of reconciling with his parents.
In an extraordinary statement, Brooklyn accused David and Victoria of controlling the family’s public image and claimed he had been controlled by his parents for much of his life.
He also alleged that his parents had attempted to interfere with his relationship with Nicola, including claims surrounding their wedding.
Among his most explosive allegations was his claim that Victoria had “inappropriately” danced with him during his wedding reception, an incident he said left him feeling humiliated.
Brooklyn also claimed that members of his family had made comments questioning Nicola’s place within the family and alleged that he had experienced repeated conflict with his parents over his marriage.
The Beckhams have not publicly responded point-by-point to his lengthy statement.
Since then, the distance between Brooklyn and the rest of the family has become increasingly visible.
He has not publicly acknowledged a number of his parents’ birthdays and milestones, and he was notably absent from David’s 50th birthday celebrations.
He also failed to share a Father’s Day tribute this year.
It was previously reported that Brooklyn was unhappy after his parents included him in a Father’s Day post and wanted them to leave him alone.
The situation reportedly became even more serious shortly before Christmas last year, when Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram.
His lawyers later reportedly contacted the Beckhams’ representatives and requested that communication take place through legal representatives.
The tattoo changes therefore come at a particularly significant moment.
For years, Brooklyn’s body art appeared to tell the story of his family relationships, with tributes to his parents and siblings permanently displayed on his skin.
Now, several of those designs have either been covered, faded or altered.
The transformation has not gone unnoticed by fans, who have followed the family’s increasingly public feud online.
While tattoos can simply be changed for aesthetic reasons, Brooklyn’s decision to cover several designs associated with his parents has inevitably sparked speculation about whether the artwork reflects a deeper emotional break.
The latest floral tattoo is particularly striking because it replaces a phrase that once directly celebrated his relationship with Victoria.
The “mama’s boy” tattoo was introduced during a period when Brooklyn frequently spoke about his admiration for his mother and appeared alongside her at major public events.
Today, the tattoo is almost impossible to see.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Nicola have continued to build their own life away from the wider Beckham family.
The couple married in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony in April 2022, surrounded by celebrities and members of their families.
Their relationship has remained central to Brooklyn’s public statements during the feud, with the former model repeatedly insisting that he wants to protect his marriage and create a private life with Nicola.
Yet another controversy erupted this year when Brooklyn appeared in a sponsored DoorDash campaign.
The collaboration came just months after he had publicly emphasized his desire for privacy, prompting some social media users to accuse him of contradicting himself.
In the advert, Brooklyn joked about watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup from home and remarked that viewers were probably wondering why he was not elsewhere.
Some interpreted the line as a reference to his estrangement from the Beckham family, although there has been no confirmation that it was intended as a deliberate message toward his parents.
The campaign nevertheless generated a fresh wave of discussion about the feud.
For David and Victoria, the situation represents a dramatic change from the family image they spent decades cultivating.
Their eldest son was once frequently described as Victoria’s “mama’s boy”, while David regularly celebrated Brooklyn publicly and spoke proudly about his achievements.
Now, even the tattoos that once immortalised those relationships are being redesigned.
Brooklyn has not publicly explained the motivation behind each individual tattoo change, and it would be impossible to know exactly what each alteration means without hearing directly from him.
But the visual message is difficult for fans to ignore.
As more of his old family tributes disappear beneath new artwork, Brooklyn appears to be rewriting the personal story written across his skin — one tattoo at a time.
