Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have once again spent part of their summer with Elton John and David Furnish, a holiday that has attracted renewed attention because of its timing and location amid the continuing rift between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham family.
The couple were photographed aboard Elton John’s yacht off the French Riviera while David and Victoria Beckham were spending time on their own yacht, Seven, along the same stretch of coastline.
Although separated by around 75 miles, it marks one of the closest physical proximities between Brooklyn and his parents since their relationship dramatically deteriorated earlier this year.
Despite holidaying in the same region of southern France, there has been no indication that the families met or planned to meet during their respective trips.
Instead, each group appeared focused on enjoying separate vacations with close companions.
Brooklyn and Nicola were seen chatting with Elton John and his husband, David Furnish, on the deck of the singer’s yacht before heading ashore together.

The pair appeared relaxed throughout the outing, holding hands as they disembarked and smiling while exploring the waterfront.
Nicola wore a white lace mini dress paired with neutral heels, while Brooklyn opted for a casual combination of denim shorts and a white T-shirt.
Photographs from the day showed the couple laughing together and speaking with members of Elton’s party, reinforcing the close relationship they have maintained with the music legend over recent years.
Meanwhile, further along the French coast, David and Victoria Beckham continued their annual Mediterranean holiday aboard their £16 million yacht.
The couple were accompanied by their son Romeo, while photographs showed David embracing his middle son during a quiet moment on deck.
Observers noted that David appeared thoughtful during parts of the trip, although neither he nor Victoria has commented publicly on the continuing family tensions.
The annual summer holiday has long been a tradition for the Beckhams, with family members frequently joining them aboard Seven as they cruise between Spain, Italy and the south of France.
This year, however, Brooklyn was once again absent.

His decision to spend time with Elton John instead has inevitably prompted renewed speculation about whether reconciliation with his parents remains a distant prospect.
Elton occupies a unique position within the Beckham family’s history.
The singer has been one of David and Victoria’s closest friends for more than three decades and is also Brooklyn’s godfather.
Their friendship dates back to David Beckham’s early football career and has endured through numerous milestones in both families’ lives.
Although Elton was originally scheduled to perform at David and Victoria’s wedding in 1999, illness prevented him from attending after he suffered a heart attack shortly beforehand.
He later performed at Brooklyn’s christening and has remained closely connected to the family ever since.
Victoria has previously spoken publicly about Elton’s influence on her own career.
She once revealed that watching him perform helped convince her that her future lay beyond the Spice Girls and encouraged her eventual transition into fashion and beauty.
Those longstanding relationships make the current circumstances particularly notable.
Rather than appearing alongside David and Victoria during the holiday season, Elton instead welcomed Brooklyn and Nicola aboard his yacht for another private getaway.

It is not the first time the couple have holidayed with Elton and David Furnish since tensions within the Beckham family became public.
Earlier this year they were also photographed together during awards season, fuelling suggestions that Elton has remained close to both generations despite the dispute.
Friends of the family have previously described him as someone who has attempted to maintain relationships with everyone involved rather than taking sides.
Whether he has privately encouraged reconciliation remains unknown.
Neither Elton nor David Furnish has commented publicly on the situation.
The latest holiday comes after months of increasingly public estrangement between Brooklyn and his parents.
In January, Brooklyn released a lengthy public statement in which he confirmed the breakdown in family relations and accused David and Victoria of controlling aspects of his life and carefully managing public narratives surrounding the family.
He also alleged that tensions surrounding his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz contributed significantly to the deterioration of their relationship.
Among the issues he referenced was discomfort over what he described as his mother’s “inappropriate” dance with him during the wedding celebrations, a claim that generated widespread discussion after becoming public.
Since then, communication between both sides has reportedly remained extremely limited.
Brooklyn has not publicly acknowledged major family milestones, including birthdays and Father’s Day, while reports have suggested he blocked his parents on social media and requested that future communication be conducted through legal representatives.
Representatives for the family have generally declined to comment on those reports.
The separation has become increasingly visible as family events continue without Brooklyn’s involvement.

David and Victoria recently travelled across the United States during the FIFA World Cup alongside Romeo, Cruz, Harper and their partners.
Brooklyn did not participate in any of the public appearances despite living in America with Nicola.
Instead, the couple have largely pursued their own schedule, focusing on commercial partnerships and private travel.
Earlier this summer, Brooklyn attracted criticism following a promotional campaign with food delivery company DoorDash.
The advertisement included a light-hearted reference to watching the World Cup from home and describing the reason as “a long story.”
Although the commercial did not explicitly mention his family, some viewers interpreted the remark as an indirect reference to his estrangement from the Beckhams.
Supporters argued the comment was harmless marketing.
Critics accused Brooklyn of capitalising on public interest in the family dispute.
Neither Brooklyn nor DoorDash addressed the speculation.
Friends close to David and Victoria have previously suggested the couple remain deeply saddened by the ongoing breakdown in relations with their eldest son.

Despite the public disagreement, they have continued to include Brooklyn in occasional social media tributes, prompting further debate among fans about whether reconciliation remains possible.
Reports earlier this year claimed Brooklyn was unhappy about being included in some of those posts, believing they conflicted with the reality of their private relationship.
That disagreement has become one of the defining features of the family’s increasingly public dispute, with each side appearing to hold very different views about how personal relationships should be reflected online.
For now, there is little evidence that either side is preparing to bridge the divide.
Instead, this summer has produced strikingly different images from the French Riviera.
On one yacht, David and Victoria continued a family tradition with their younger children.

On another, Brooklyn and Nicola enjoyed time with one of the family’s oldest friends.
Separated by only a short distance across the Mediterranean, the two holidays nevertheless served as another reminder that emotional distance, rather than geography, continues to define one of celebrity culture’s most closely watched family rifts.
