Lee Andrews has reportedly been released from prison for the second time following his latest arrest in Dubai, while his father remains behind bars in the latest twist to the businessman’s ongoing legal saga.
The 43-year-old, who married Katie Price in January, was said to have been detained earlier this month after being taken by police to Lahab police station in the Dubai desert on July 10.
According to reports, Lee was scrambling to raise around £120,000 in order to resolve financial issues and secure his release from custody.

Now, a source has claimed that the businessman has been freed from Dubai’s notorious Al Awir prison after spending a short period behind bars.
The source told The Sun: “Lee Andrews has today been released from Al Awir prison.
“He was set free this afternoon following a short stint behind bars.
“His dad Pete, who has been caught up in Lee’s misdemeanours, remains behind bars.”
Lee’s reported release comes just days after it emerged that his father Peter had also been arrested and taken to the same Dubai prison as his son.
The development marked another dramatic turn in a turbulent few months for the couple, with Lee’s legal problems continuing to create headlines and reportedly putting increasing strain on his marriage to Katie.
Lee and his father are believed to have crossed paths while both were being held as part of separate allegations linked to financial matters.

Sources claimed Lee had needed to raise money to settle outstanding debts before he could walk free.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Katie Price for comment.
The latest development follows reports earlier this month that Lee had been arrested again just weeks after his previous release from Al Awir prison.
At the time, sources claimed Lee had been “bragging” that he would soon be free because he had managed to raise the £120,000 fine he faced.
The businessman had previously spent time in custody after becoming embroiled in allegations relating to fraud, although he has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
Katie had remained in contact with Lee’s father Peter when her husband first disappeared from public view in May.

It was Peter who confirmed to the Daily Mail that Lee had been arrested, putting an end to speculation surrounding his whereabouts.
At the time, Peter insisted his son had not been kidnapped and was instead being held by authorities.
He said: “Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest.”
However, as Lee’s legal troubles continued, reports emerged suggesting Katie had become increasingly frustrated with the situation.
Friends reportedly believe the television personality has reached “the end of her tether” and have encouraged her to reconsider the future of her marriage.
A source previously claimed: “Both Lee and his dad are now behind bars, in the same prison. Lee maintains his innocence, and is hoping to pay off his outstanding debts and get out of that hell hole as quickly as possible.”
The insider added that Lee wanted to return to Britain and rebuild his life after resolving his problems overseas.
“Whether poor Katie will be there to greet him on the other side remains to be seen,” the source said.
“Right now she is furious with it all, and fed up with all the drama and white noise her husband is bringing. Friends are urging her to leave him.”
The reports come amid further claims of tension between Katie and Lee over a dog they purchased together in Dubai.
The couple bought a pomsky while living in the UAE, but it has been claimed the animal is now being looked after by Lee’s former partner Dina Taji.
The dispute over the dog has reportedly added to the strain between Katie and her husband.
Meanwhile, Lee has also found himself at the centre of controversy over allegations surrounding a supposed sex tape involving Katie.
Earlier this week, reports claimed Lee had allegedly discussed the possibility of selling intimate footage involving himself and Katie for as much as £250,000.
The claims were linked to an alleged voice note reportedly sent by Lee before his arrest, in which he allegedly discussed ways of making money quickly.
Reports claimed Lee had considered approaching Vivid Entertainment, the US adult entertainment company known for distributing several high-profile celebrity tapes.
According to sources, Lee allegedly believed the supposed footage could generate a significant financial return.
One source claimed he had discussed contacting companies in America and believed he could secure a large advance payment.
The claims, however, have been strongly denied by Katie.

The former glamour model released a statement insisting that no such recording exists and that she had never made a sex tape with Lee.
“This story is completely untrue,” Katie said.
“I have never made such a tape and any suggestion otherwise is false and deeply misleading.”
She added that the allegations appeared to be based on a voice note in which Lee discussed a tape that she insists does not exist.
“The claims appear to be based on a voice note sent from Lee discussing a tape… a tape which does not exist and never will,” she said.
Katie also described the situation as deeply upsetting.
“I feel incredibly upset, abused and humiliated that such serious and false allegations have been shared publicly without any factual basis,” she added.
According to reports, Lee allegedly mentioned in the recording that a supposed tape “might go for a pretty penny” and suggested it could potentially earn around £250,000.
However, after allegedly being warned that releasing private material without Katie’s consent could be illegal, he reportedly changed his position and claimed he had been joking.
The controversy has added another layer of difficulty for Katie, who has already faced months of uncertainty surrounding her husband.
Lee’s legal problems began dominating headlines after he appeared to vanish earlier this year, prompting Katie to initially raise concerns about his whereabouts.
It later emerged he was being held in Dubai’s Al Awir prison.
Lee has consistently denied allegations made against him and has insisted there is no evidence proving he committed fraud.
He has also made claims about being taken at gunpoint by armed men before being detained, describing the incident as a terrifying ordeal.
The businessman has faced accusations from several former partners over alleged financial dealings, all of which he denies.
His former partner Dina Taji previously took legal action against him after claiming he had taken out a mortgage in her name without her knowledge.
Another ex-partner, Crystal Janke, previously alleged she handed Lee a large sum of money after being promised significant returns from a business investment.
Lee has denied those claims.
Now, with Lee reportedly back out of prison but his father still behind bars, questions remain over what happens next for the businessman and his marriage to Katie.
The couple has already endured months of public scrutiny, but the latest developments surrounding the arrests, financial disputes and fresh controversy appear set to keep their relationship firmly in the spotlight.
For Katie, who has publicly defended her husband in the past, the ongoing drama represents yet another challenge as she decides what the future holds amid one of the most turbulent periods of her personal life.
