KATIE PRICE’S EX-HUSBAND ALEX REID IS PROMISING TO TELL HIS ‘TRUTH’ ABOUT THEIR EXPLOSIVE MARRIAGE — AS HIS ONE-NIGHT-ONLY SHOW IS ALREADY FUELING SPECULATION OVER WHAT HE MAY FINALLY REVEAL What has been billed as an unfiltered live event is reigniting interest in one of celebrity culture’s most turbulent relationships, with fans wondering whether years of public accusations are about to be revisited.

Katie Price’s turbulent personal life has rarely been far from the headlines, but now one of the people who knew her best during one of her most controversial chapters is preparing to speak out in his own words.

Her ex-husband Alex Reid has announced a one-night-only live show where he promises to reveal the truth about their whirlwind marriage, describing the event as his “most honest” appearance yet and insisting there will be “no script, no filters” and “no subjects off limits.”

The former MMA fighter, 50, will take to the stage in Aldershot, Hampshire, next month for the exclusive event, charging fans £43 a ticket as he revisits the highs and lows of a relationship that captivated the British public more than a decade ago.

The announcement comes at a time when Katie, 48, is once again under intense public scrutiny following the release of her deeply personal Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which revisits some of the biggest moments of her career and relationships.

Alex’s decision to finally tell his side of the story is already generating fresh interest, particularly after his candid appearance in the documentary, where he joined several of Katie’s former partners in reflecting on their experiences with the former glamour model.

Promoting the upcoming event on social media, Alex teased an emotional and revealing evening.

“For one night only, I’m doing my most honest live event yet,” he wrote.

“We’ll talk about everything. No script. No filters. No subjects off limits.”

He added that the evening would cover his time on Celebrity Big Brother, his relationships, fatherhood and many of the defining moments that shaped his life, suggesting audiences will hear stories that have never previously been shared publicly.

For many fans, however, the biggest draw is likely to be his promise to revisit his explosive marriage to Katie.

Alex appeared alongside her former boyfriends Gareth Gates and Dane Bowers in the star's new documentary, Katie Price Nothing To Hide

The pair famously married in a whirlwind Las Vegas ceremony in February 2010 after just seven months together.

Their romance unfolded shortly after Katie’s highly publicized split from first husband Peter Andre, with the relationship dominating tabloid front pages almost from the beginning.

At the time, the couple insisted they had found lasting happiness despite the speed of their romance.

However, cracks quickly began to appear.

Just 11 months after saying “I do,” they announced they were separating, and their divorce was finalized in March 2012 after months of increasingly bitter public exchanges.

Katie later admitted she believed they had rushed into marriage, while Alex maintained that the intense media spotlight placed enormous strain on their relationship.

Their split became even more contentious in the years that followed.

Katie would later reveal that Alex’s cross-dressing alter ego, Roxanne, had played a significant role in the breakdown of their marriage.

Alex, meanwhile, accused Katie of forcing him to publicly reveal that side of his identity after appearing in drag alongside her during the launch of one of her books in 2009.

The fallout sparked years of public disagreements, with both continuing to speak about the relationship in interviews.

One of the most significant legal battles came in 2019 when Katie was ordered to pay Alex £140,000 in legal costs after allegations she had shown intimate footage involving him.

The court also granted Alex a five-year injunction preventing Katie from publicly sharing private information relating to their relationship.

Despite the acrimonious history between them, Alex has recently struck a more sympathetic tone when discussing his former wife.

Following Katie’s surprise marriage to Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews, Alex admitted he felt concerned about the latest chapter in her personal life.

His comments suggested that while their own marriage ended painfully, he still worries about Katie’s wellbeing and the choices she continues to make.

Those concerns have become increasingly relevant following the release of Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which explores Katie’s struggles with addiction, mental health and a series of failed relationships.

Alex is one of several former partners featured in the documentary.

Singer Gareth Gates also reflects on his secret romance with Katie, revealing the emotional impact their relationship had on him during the early stages of his career.

The pair famously dated in 2002 while Gareth was still a teenager and Katie was pregnant with eldest son Harvey.

Their relationship remained hidden from the public at the time before later becoming one of the most talked-about romances of the era.

Katie has since admitted she regretted aspects of how their relationship became public, while Gareth previously acknowledged it even made him question whether he wanted to continue pursuing fame.

Another familiar face appearing in the documentary is former Another Level singer Dane Bowers.

Katie dated Dane between 1998 and 2000 and has often described him as one of the great loves of her life.

Reflecting on their relationship, Dane offers a blunt assessment of Katie’s personality.

“Kate throws these little bombs and she wants to see what they do,” he says during the series.

Katie herself previously admitted on Celebrity Big Brother that Dane was the man who truly taught her what heartbreak felt like.

The documentary also introduces viewers to Gary Bolingbroke, Katie’s first boyfriend, who appears more than three decades after ending their teenage romance when she was just 17 years old.

Throughout the series, director Paddy Wivell attempts to piece together Katie’s extraordinary journey by speaking not only to former partners but also to family members and close friends.

The result paints a portrait of a woman whose personal relationships have often unfolded under relentless public scrutiny.

Katie herself acknowledges the mistakes she has made.

Toward the end of the documentary trailer, she offers a candid reflection on her life.

“I know I’ve made mistakes,” she says.

“It’s very hard to explain me but I’ve got nothing to hide. I am what I am.”

In one emotional closing scene, Katie watches archive footage of herself before quietly observing: “It’s like watching a movie, isn’t it?”

Now, with Alex preparing to step onto the stage and revisit many of those same memories, public interest in one of celebrity culture’s most dramatic relationships is set to be reignited once again.

Whether audiences hear shocking new revelations or simply gain a more personal insight into the man behind years of headlines remains to be seen.

But with Alex promising complete honesty, no restrictions and no forbidden topics, his upcoming appearance is already shaping up to reopen one of British showbusiness’s most unforgettable and controversial love stories.
