Stacey Solomon has given fans another glimpse inside her new family home, taking them on a fascinating tour of the top floor as she begins the huge task of renovating and decorating the property.

The 36-year-old presenter promised followers they could come along for the journey as she transforms the new house into a home, but she has already made one important boundary clear.

After the family previously experienced privacy and security issues at their much-loved Pickle Cottage, Stacey has decided she will not reveal the exterior of their new property.

Instead, the Loose Women star has begun showing fans what is inside, starting at the very top of the house and working her way down.

In a video shared to Instagram on Sunday evening, Stacey was joined by her young daughters Rose, four, and Belle, three, as they explored the upper floor, which is currently accessible only by a ladder.

The space immediately appeared to offer plenty for Stacey to work with, including several bedrooms, unusual architectural features and a bathroom that instantly caught her attention.

The bedrooms were all painted yellow and featured small fireplaces, although Stacey explained that these were not functioning fireplaces.

Instead, they were once used to store coal, offering a glimpse into the history of the property and giving the rooms a distinctive period feel.

Stacey then discovered the bathroom, where the bold orange tiles and matching fixtures immediately divided opinion.

Rather than seeing the retro decoration as something that needed to disappear, however, Stacey appeared to fall in love with it.

“This is a bathroom. And why do I love the orange bath stuff? I don’t know. I’m going to do something with that,” she said.

The presenter then admitted that she particularly loved the orange bath, asking her followers to give their verdict on whether the unusual bathroom suite should stay.

“I love the orange bath!” she exclaimed during the tour.

It was not only the existing features of the house that caught Stacey’s attention.

The family also discovered that the previous occupants had left behind a collection of quirky and unexpected objects in one of the upstairs storage areas.

What followed quickly became something of a treasure hunt for Stacey and her children.

Among the items they uncovered were a vintage tennis racket, an old film camera, a riding hat, a set of dominoes and an old television that Stacey said reminded her of her childhood.

The room was packed with boxes and belongings, and Stacey suggested that the upstairs area had largely been used as storage by the previous tenants.

“They left quite a bit of stuff behind… so we rooted through the boxes. I don’t think they ever came up here. I think it was just used as storage. So we had a treasure hunt,” she explained.

One discovery caused particular amusement when Stacey’s dad joked about the old equipment they had found.

“Stacey thinks this is a gun,” he joked after she spotted the film equipment.

Stacey then laughed as she recalled her reaction.

“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, is there a gun here?'” she teased.

Her father, Dave, was apparently much more interested in another discovery, as Stacey explained that he became excited after realizing they had found an old camera.

“Dave got really excited because it’s an old camera, and it still works,” she said.

The presenter later asked her followers for their opinions on several of the discoveries, showing that she is already keen to involve them in the renovation process.

Alongside footage from the upstairs tour, she wrote: “Come with us… starting from the top & working the way down. Here’s us exploring and finding some treasures that the last people left behind.”

She then asked followers to settle one of the most important questions raised by the tour.

“I need your opinion. Is that orange bath suite nice? Because I love it,” she wrote.

Stacey also wanted to know what the dominoes were made from and whether she should keep the old 80s television.

“Can someone tell me what these dominos are made of please. And whether I should keep that 80s TV because it actually makes me feel so happy & nostalgic when I look at it,” she added.

The tour comes just days after Stacey admitted that it still feels strange waking up somewhere other than Pickle Cottage.

The presenter and her husband Joe Swash recently moved out of their £1.3million former family home, marking the end of an emotional chapter for the couple and their children.

On Saturday morning, Stacey shared a glimpse of the new house with followers, showing her daughter Rose in a largely bare living room.

The room featured an ornate white-painted fireplace, black-and-white marble details and white wallpaper, suggesting that the new property could be considerably grander in scale than their previous cottage.

Stacey admitted that she was still adjusting to her new surroundings.

“Happy Saturday. Feels so strange not waking up in pickle cottage but so excited taking it all in & wondering what to do with this place,” she wrote.

Although she has promised to document the transformation, Stacey made it clear that there will be limits to what she shares this time around.

“I can’t wait to properly have some days off work & show you all around…. I’m not going to show the outside of the house this time around,” she explained.

“Just for security and privacy reasons… we had some issues at pickle cottage in the end & it’s safer to just not show the building itself.”

The decision highlights the difficult balance Stacey now faces between sharing her home life with millions of followers and protecting her family’s privacy.

For years, Pickle Cottage became a familiar part of Stacey’s online presence, with fans watching as she decorated rooms, tackled DIY projects and built a family life there.

But she has now decided that the exterior of her new home will remain private.

Inside, however, she appears determined to bring followers along for the transformation.

“I am so excited though to take you into the rooms & get inspiration from you all,” she continued.

“There’s so much to think about & so many fun things to do. I will need help with this project because it is huge. I need all your tips, tricks and ideas!”

Rather than immediately changing everything, Stacey said she wants to spend time living in the property before deciding exactly what should happen to each room.

“I’m going to really take my time and live here and work out what to do with each room because I don’t want to rush it!” she said.

She added: “But I can’t tell you how excited I am to sink my teeth into this project with you all.”

The move represents a major change for Stacey and Joe, who built many of their family’s most important memories at Pickle Cottage.

The couple had previously explained that they had fallen in love with the new property because of the amount of land surrounding it.

For Stacey, the extra space offered an opportunity to expand the family’s love of animals, gardening and outdoor life.

She has already revealed that their chickens, ducks and beehive successfully made the move, while she has ambitions to create a huge vegetable garden.

The presenter has also spoken about wanting to rescue more animals and potentially bring horses and ponies to the property.

The new home was previously reported to be an eight-bedroom Victorian mansion, complete with a swimming pool, sprawling gardens and enough space for the blended family.

Stacey and Joe are parents to Rex, seven, Rose, four, and Belle, three. Stacey is also mum to Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 14, while Joe has a son, Harry, 19, from a previous relationship.

With such a large family, the additional bedrooms and outdoor space could give everyone considerably more room.

Joe has already described the property as a huge renovation project for his wife, who has built a reputation for transforming homes with her DIY skills and creative ideas.

The couple announced their decision to leave Pickle Cottage in an emotional video, with Stacey admitting that she never imagined the day would come when they would move away.

“Leaving Pickle Cottage was a massive decision for us,” she explained.

She said they had needed to speak with their children, friends and neighbours before making the move public and had waited until they were confident that someone else would love the cottage as much as they did.

Stacey has always spoken affectionately about Pickle Cottage, making the decision to leave particularly emotional.

“Pickle Cottage is our dream house, as soon as we moved here we fell in love with it and I still love it so, so much,” she said.

The property was where she gave birth to both of her daughters and where she and Joe eventually married, making it far more than simply a house.

“It’s a really special place to us. I gave birth to both of the girls there, we got married there, it’s just so special to us,” Stacey added.

But despite the emotional attachment, Stacey said the family had increasingly wanted more land.

“For a little while we have always wanted to rescue more animals, grow more vegetables so we have always been thinking if there was ever a chance to get a bit more land then we would consider it,” she explained.

When they eventually found the new property, the possibilities immediately became obvious.

“We saw somewhere and I was like, we could have a massive vegetable patch and we could offer our land to animals who need it and stuff like that,” she said.

“We could bring the horses back there, the ponies, and we went to see it and we fell in love.”

The move may have been difficult, but Stacey believes the new property represents an opportunity for the family to grow and create an entirely different kind of home.

“It wasn’t an easy decision, we built our lives together at Pickle Cottage but now we have found somewhere where we can see our family growing and really flourishing and this is the place,” she said.

She described the move as the beginning of a new chapter.

“So it’s time to say goodbye to Pickle Cottage which feels so weird and basically move across to our new chapter,” Stacey added.

For now, that new chapter appears to involve ladders, yellow bedrooms, an orange bath, forgotten treasures and plenty of renovation decisions.

And while Stacey may be keeping the outside of the house firmly off camera, she has made it clear that fans will still have a front-row seat as she works out exactly what to do with the rooms.

With so much space, history and apparently plenty of hidden surprises, her latest home makeover could become just as closely followed as the transformation of Pickle Cottage.

The question now is whether Stacey will preserve some of the property’s quirky original features or give the Victorian mansion a completely new identity.

And after falling for an orange bath and an old television within her first few days of exploring the house, it seems her followers may have plenty of opinions to offer.
