Tommy Fury has revealed that despite Molly-Mae Hague’s multi-million-pound fortune, he has always insisted on paying whenever the couple go out for dinner, saying he believes it is simply “the gentlemanly thing to do.”

The boxer made the comments during the latest episode of his BBC podcast What The Fury?!, where he was joined by his father, John Fury, for a conversation about modern relationships, traditional values and whether expectations around paying for dates have changed.

Tommy, who rekindled his relationship with Molly-Mae earlier this year after the pair briefly separated in 2024, was asked whether paying the bill is gentlemanly or an outdated tradition.

“I think it’s both,” he replied.

“I don’t think Molly’s ever paid for a dinner in her life with me.”

He added: “I think the man should pay, it’s a gentleman thing to do, that’s just how I think.”

“Same here,” John said.

“Every time I’ve been in a woman’s company in my life, I’ve always paid.”
