‘With John Cena?’, ‘And Do What?’ – WWE Confirms Nikki Bella’s RAW Comeback, Fans Question Her Return
One of the big announcements during Money in the Bank was the return of Nikki Bella. The former Divas champion seems to be coming alone, with no mention of her twin sister, Brie. With Nikki in the news recently for her divorce and having to pay $200K in child support, the WWE Universe seems ready to welcome her back with open arms. That said, many question what her role will be as she returns on the road to SummerSlam.
WWE Universe Speculates Nikki Bella’s Plans
Having appeared in the Royal Rumble earlier this year, it won’t be Bella’s first time stepping into a WWE ring in 2025. She’s only been in Royal Rumble matches dating back to 2022, two of them to be exact. Other than that, her last matches for the company were on live events as she faced Ronda Rousey for the Women’s Championship.

Seeing as her divorce is the big topic at the moment, one fan asked, “With John Cena?” It’s not the most valid question in the world, with Cena happy with someone else now, but it’s WWE after all. The two had a very public relationship that resulted in a proposal at WrestleMania, before the engagement was ultimately called off.
While the announcement only mentions Nikki, this user commented, “For sure doing The Bellas vs. Liv and Raquel at Evolution 2”. WWE could be bringing Nikki back first as a test to gauge the interest, and then build up to Brie’s return as well. The Bella Twins have discussed before wanting to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships, something that debuted after they both left the company.
“To come and do what?” someone asked, a simple question that will be answered on Netflix. A fan was not happy with this announcement, “Who asked for this?” they said as many responded and seemed to be thrilled with the idea of Bella returning. Similar to the other fan’s comment before, this individual said, “Start hyping Evolution 2!”
With WWE now on the road to Evolution 2, Night of Champions and a Saturday Night’s Main Event stand in the way before it. NXT will also have a Premium Live Event, as WWE tries to take over AEW’s “All In” weekend. Regardless, Bella has quite a few haters as well, with someone mentioning, “She needs to retire already, she sucks.”

It’s only a matter of time before the WWE Universe figures out what Bella has in store, but it’s safe to imagine that she will be returning to the ring in some capacity. With neck issues before that put her career at risk, Bella had plenty of time to rest and recover while starting her own family at home. Now, she seems destined to put her career first once again.
