Their appearance comes after what could have been an awkward near encounter in St Tropez, where Brooklyn and Nicola had been enjoying a getaway with David Beckham’s longtime friend Sir Elton John.

Brooklyn and Nicola were pictured spending time aboard Elton’s yacht before enjoying an ice cream in the glamorous French resort. Just two days later, David and Victoria were photographed in the same area, strolling hand in hand through the streets of St Tropez.

The proximity between the two couples has once again highlighted the extraordinary distance that has grown between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham family.

Despite being just minutes apart, there was no sign of a family reunion, with Brooklyn instead returning to the United States with Nicola.

For their latest outing, the aspiring chef kept things casual in a black top, dark denim trousers and white trainers. Nicola opted for a more polished look, wearing a crisp white blouse with low-waisted jeans as the pair made their way into the popular restaurant.

The couple appeared comfortable and affectionate, with Brooklyn smiling as they walked side by side.

Their relaxed display comes during an increasingly bitter period in Brooklyn’s relationship with his famous parents and siblings.

Brooklyn has skipped the Beckhams’ annual summer holiday aboard the family’s £16million yacht for the second consecutive year. Instead of joining David, Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, he spent time in France with Nicola and their close friend Elton John.

The singer, 79, has known David for more than three decades and has long been regarded as part of the Beckham family’s inner circle. David has affectionately referred to Elton as ‘Uncle Elton’, reflecting the longstanding friendship between the two families.

Yet this summer, Elton has also been seen spending time with Brooklyn and Nicola, providing another striking reminder of the complicated social circles surrounding the family dispute.

Brooklyn and Nicola were photographed chatting with Elton and his husband David Furnish on the singer’s yacht off the French coast on Saturday.

Meanwhile, David and Victoria have continued their own family holiday with their younger children.

The couple have been travelling aboard their luxury yacht Seven with Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, Harper, 15, and Romeo’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 25. Before arriving in St Tropez, the family had visited different parts of the Balearic Islands.

The Beckhams had also spent time in the United States earlier this year, following the World Cup with their younger children and their partners.

Despite Brooklyn living in the US, however, he has repeatedly avoided joining family outings.

The latest separation comes after Brooklyn launched a remarkable public attack on his parents earlier this year.

In January, he released a lengthy six-page statement in which he declared that he was no longer part of what he described as ‘Brand Beckham’.

Brooklyn accused David and Victoria of attempting to control aspects of his life and claimed they had tried to create tension between him and Nicola.

He also revisited his 2022 wedding, alleging that the celebrations had left him feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed. Among his most serious claims was an accusation that Victoria had interfered with his planned first dance with Nicola.

The allegations marked a dramatic escalation in a family disagreement that had previously played out largely behind closed doors.

Since then, Brooklyn has made little effort to publicly reconnect with his parents.

He has not acknowledged their birthdays or other major milestones in the same way he once did and notably failed to share a public tribute to David on Father’s Day this year.

It was also previously reported that Brooklyn was unhappy after David and Victoria included him in a Father’s Day post despite their strained relationship.

The situation became even more serious when Brooklyn reportedly blocked his parents on Instagram shortly before Christmas last year. His lawyers later contacted the Beckhams’ team and requested that communication be conducted through legal representatives.

For a family that once appeared almost inseparable, the change has been striking.

David and Victoria have continued to publicly present a united family image with their younger children, while Brooklyn has increasingly built a separate life with Nicola.

The couple’s decision to spend time with Elton John rather than joining the Beckhams’ Mediterranean holiday has therefore attracted considerable attention.

The advertisement included a reference to watching the FIFA World Cup from home, with Brooklyn saying: ‘You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home… It’s a long story.’

Some fans interpreted the comment as a pointed reference to his decision to remain separated from his family during the tournament.

Others accused Brooklyn of contradicting his previous calls for privacy by using the family situation as part of a commercial campaign.

Friends of the Beckhams were reportedly unhappy about the advertisement, while Brooklyn’s supporters argued that he had every right to build his own career away from his family’s business empire.
